From the Big Apple to the Big Easy

I’m a born and bred New Yorker, now living in New Orleans, Louisiana (and still hoping for locals to consider me a “native” after 30 years). I adore my hometown of Manhattan and am proud to have been raised in the Upper East Side neighborhood of Yorkville. But New Orleans took a part of my soul, and I love this crazy town. I love Jazz Fest and the Saints but in my heart I will always be a New York City girl.
